The duo of Shawn \u201cThe Harpoonist\u201d and Matthew \u201cThe Axe Murderer\u201d Rogers make the kind of blues that makes your face twist up and your drink disappear quicker, and are NOT to be missed.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/onelink.to\/q3qzq8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>2. J\u00e9r\u00e9mie &amp; The Delicious Hounds<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WJIfJKIIjw8\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>J\u00e9r\u00e9mie &amp; the Delicious Hounds have quickly become a Franco-Manitoban classic. They rally around their pack leader, J\u00e9r\u00e9mie Br\u00e9mault, to pursue one very serious mission \u2013 to keep you dancing all night with their bilingual tunes.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/onelink.to\/q3qzq8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">3. Kalle Mattson<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gkTvUbB362A\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This is possibly one of the funniest, most clever music videos we\u2019ve seen in a long time. I meme, come on. Kalle Mattson, a Polaris Prize nominated folk singer has come to a very important realization. \u201cFolk is dead,\u201d he says. And his music proves that moving in a different direction is where he needs to be \u2013 this stuff is pop gold.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/onelink.to\/q3qzq8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>4. You might have seen him play in his previous band, The Middle Coast, but you absolutely have to see him solo. We mean it.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/onelink.to\/q3qzq8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>5. Anomalie<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dyQDvJ53WYA?start=17\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>You need to watch this video. Seriously. Stop scrolling and check it out. This is going to be the show where you and your friends vibe out so hard that your legs hurt the next day.<\/p>\n<p>Anomalie is the live, electronic project of Nicolas Dupuis, a classically trained and highly versatile keyboardist and producer based in Montreal, QC.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/onelink.to\/q3qzq8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>6. Living Hour<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cw0CLk1iTto\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Your local dream-pop darlings, Living Hour, are bring their sprawling and expansive tunes to the Bell MTS Rivi\u00e8re-Rouge Bell MTS. They\u2019ve got a new record, <em>Softer Faces<\/em>, coming out just after Festival du Voyageur, on March 1, 2019, so you\u2019re going to want to be hear all their new tunes.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/onelink.to\/q3qzq8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>7. Reina Del Cid<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/thsvGSlwOBU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Part singer-songwriter, part folk-rock band, you can find Reina del Cid at the intersection of lyrical storytelling and scorching solos. Their music has been featured by heavy-hitter publications such as Paste Magazine, NPR, and Baeble Music, so you can trust them us and when we tell you they\u2019re awesome.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/onelink.to\/q3qzq8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>8. La Bronze<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/m6r2lLKPl2U\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>La Bronze is a francophone artists, but this video is special. She performs the song, \u201cFormidable\u201d by Stromae in Arab. She wanted to sing it in Arab to pay homage to her ancestral language, and it turned out absolutely stunning.<\/p>\n<p>It proves that no matter what language you\u2019re consuming music in \u2013 French, English, Arab \u2013 the feeling and message still resonate.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/onelink.to\/q3qzq8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>9. Astralblak<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DV14VPJeoU0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Formerly ZULUZULUU, Astralblak is armed with various synths, drum machines, and instruments set out to bring a new, exploratory modern sound influenced by the greats of funk, soul, and jazz with electronic excursions, hard grooves, Afro-futurism and soulful melodies.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/onelink.to\/q3qzq8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>10. Alaclair Ensemble<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ouUa03O0DUY?start=39\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re loud, and they\u2019re proud, and you should be too. Alaclair Ensemble is a hip hop group from Qu\u00e9bec whose personalities are just as cool as their music. No matter if you speak French or English, their Frenglish lines will definitely speak to you.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/onelink.to\/q3qzq8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>11. The Lytics<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/67zcaflrlIg\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re local hip hop legends, and if you don\u2019t know them, you\u2019re about to. After spending the later part of 2018 touring Europe, they\u2019ll be lighting up the Bell MTS Rivi\u00e8re-Rouge Tent for what is promised to be one heck of a party.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/onelink.to\/q3qzq8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>12. 3PEAT<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BFqOdeOtIXI\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>We love 3PEAT just as much as we love the chicken and waffles featured at the top of this video \u2013 A LOT. The Winnipeg-based trio\u2019s chemistry and high energy on stage brings back a nostalgia of 90\u2019s rap mixed with a rawness that is uniquely Canadian and arguably even more satisfying than that tasty, tasty breakfast.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>There are more bands to come!
