Fort Gibraltar is seeking reliable and professional on-call bartenders to support a variety of private events, including weddings, corporate functions, and cultural celebrations. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy a dynamic environment and flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and responsibly
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to guests
- Set up and take down bar stations for events
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure compliance with liquor regulations
- Handle cash and process payments accurately (if required)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience
- Valid Serving It Right (or Manitoba equivalent, e.g. Smart Choices) certification required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Must be available primarily evenings and weekends
Assets
- Experience working weddings or large events
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
- Knowledge of classic cocktails and drink service
