Festival du Voyageur is seeking a hands-on Operations & Site Services Manager to lead the planning and execution of all operational services for the festival.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the OSSM ensures the festival runs safely and efficiently by overseeing teams, volunteers, site logistics, beverage services, signage, and on-site activities. This is a dynamic leadership role requiring strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise operational teams, including volunteer coordination, beverage services, and site operations
• Oversee the festival’s volunteer program, including recruitment, training, and on-site supervision
• Coordinate snow sculpture logistics and artist support
• Manage site setup, signage, and activation areas
• Oversee beverage operations, inventory, and compliance
• Supervise parking, sanitation, and transportation logistics
• Support festival programming and activities
• Assist with supervision of the Green Team during the summer season
• Support coordination and management of event rentals
• Manage operational planning, suppliers, budgets, and inventories year-roun
Qualifications:
• Experience in event or festival operations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organization and communication abilities
• Experience with budgeting and vendor coordination
• Bilingual (French/English) required
• Comfortable working outdoors in winter conditions
Working Conditions:
• Evenings and weekends required during festival season
• On-site presence for setup, operations, and teardown
